It is almost time to head back to school for us teachers! Along with thinking about, well everything⎼from what I will teach to what books I want to supply my class, I am also considering the contents in my closet. Last year, I taught kindergarten, but this year I will be teaching fourth grade. In fourth grade, I will have a bit more flexibility with what I can wear because I won't need to squat down on the floor to get down to my students' level. Now, my students will likely be closer to my height. With this in consideration, I am thinking that I will want to wear more dresses and practical heels.
I have been on the hunt lately for teacher-comfortable dresses. I found inspiration in the style evolution of Meghan Markle from LA girl to royalty approved. I noticed that she has been sticking to sensible heels and mostly modest midi dresses. I have been looking at dresses that I can wear all the time to feel comfortable at school and around town. No more running around town in leggings for me! Since I live in the same neighborhood as my students, I will likely run into students and families at my everyday shopping spots. I want to make sure that I am always looking presentable.
In this Picks collection, I have chosen only midi length dresses because I think it is the perfect length to move around in while teaching. I sorted the dresses by price with dresses under $100 and dresses over $100.
