Last night we had such an incredible time at the 19th Annual Clay Ball, which is a fundraiser event for the Salem Arts Association. You may recognize those two people in their advertisements for this year. Our dear friends James O’Shea and Melissa Comer asked us to model for this year’s photos. The theme of the event was Silver Screen. The first two photos you see here are from our photo shoot with James and Melissa at the Bush House Museum. James took these beautiful photos, Melissa styled us, and the gowns I am wearing are from Ring A Ding Retro.
This was such a classy and beautiful event. There were incredible silent auction items, a formal dinner, and a live auction. Among the prizes, the ones we were eyeing included a trip to seven locations in Europe, a cruise for two, an Icelandic adventure, and a stunning oil painting by artist John Van Dreal. This was such a well organized event and it gave me another reason to pull out one of my gowns from the back of my closet. We were inspired by the art surrounding us and we were excited to see everyone looking their best. You all looked wonderful last night!
