Someone in Portland must have been dreaming of a white Christmas because on Christmas Eve we were blessed with a delightful dusting of snow flurries dancing to the ground. We awoke to a peaceful scene of the streets of our pretty little city covered in snow. This Christmas we shared a quiet holiday at home together with our pup. We relaxed by listening to holiday jazz, talking about anything non-work, and starting a 1,000 piece puzzle (I'm still working on this part of the festivities). On Christmas day, we felt spoiled as we opened one thoughtful gift after another. The most important gift of all was being able to spend a little extra quiet time together. This is something that we cherish more than anything else. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday no matter what and how it is you celebrate!
"In the winter time we go
Walking in the fields of snow;
Where there is no grass at all;
Where the top of every wall,
Every fence, and every tree,
Is as white as white can be. "
